We believe every child should have the opportunity to enjoy a happy and safe childhood. In addition to providing fundamental support and protection towards enabling a safe childhood, we also provide FUN opportunities for children to play and be a child – even if it is for just one day!
We're a NGO that specializes in assisting disadvantaged children by supporting their desire to lead a healthier, happier and more productive life with an eye towards a great future. In line with this main goal we work hard to educate society on the various barriers that hinder positive childhood development by raising awareness on such issues as child protection, education, nutrition & health, neglect, awareness of children’s rights and in general how to respect the needs of each and every child.
Protecting children from any form of abuse and neglect, supporting disadvantaged children through our grass roots initiatives and educating society on how to help every child lead a better life is one of our major goals.
There are many categories of disadvantaged children in Egypt, including street children, children living below the poverty line, single parent households, children in abusive (emotional, physical and/or sexual) households, neglected children and orphans. The level and type of financial and/or moral support required by each category of disadvantaged children can therefore vary greatly.
We provide assistance to disadvantaged children in our immediate communities and lends a helping hand to develop communities into responsible child supportive environments.
We're free from any political, religious or ethnic bias and is committed to the support of the disadvantaged and educating society on how to foster nurturing and healthy environments for all children.
We specialize in tackling issues that might be otherwise seen as “taboo” such as Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting (FGM/C), HIV/AIDS, Sexual, Physical and Mental Abuse rehabilitation and other such hard hitting issues affecting our children.
We focus on providing FUN for disadvantaged children – in addition to the solid support and care our programs offer we also make it a point never to forget that every child deserves to have FUN and play. Many of our programs are designed to give every child access to enjoyable activities so that all children can be Kidz!
