The concept of dream fulfillment is not a new one and has been successfully applied in many countries. It does not require a lot of effort but a commitment and dedication to support a child by making their dream come true. Watching this child’s face light up, and knowing that you have made the child feel true happiness perhaps for the first time in their lives, is perhaps the greatest gift of all.

My Dream has no cure and all too often some of our endings are sad, but during desperate times when there seems to be no hope, We will step in and provide positive and uplifting relief. Most of all, a wish granted brings a time of magic. We are there for the children and the families at the time they need it most.
My Dream is created to soften the hard edges of what a family experiences when a child has a fatal illness. We aim to create a sense of community between families who are having similar experiences by providing opportunities for them to escape the hospital, doctors, nurses, needles and treatments and doing something fun where they get to join others and just feel "normal" again, perhaps even forgetting that anyone is sick even if it's only for a split second, it still makes a difference
*Making the Dream a reality*
There are four steps in granting the dream. Each step builds on the next to help create the amazing experiences for the children and their families. A dream experience can be a source of inspiration for children undergoing difficult medical treatments and a positive force that might help them overcome their suffering and that of their families. This experience can be more than a dream come true, sometimes it can be the force that rekindles their hope for a future and their belief in themselves. keep in mind throughout the whole search for the wish the child doesn't know what's going on, so that magical day is a complete surprise.
1. Referring a child
the purpose of My Dream is to fulfill dreams for children of all income groups and of any of any race, color, social status, or belief. Children will be referred by medical professionals,parents, and possibly themselves. Children who have reached the of three and are under the age of eighteen at the of referral and have not recieved a wish from any other wish granting organization, may be eligible for a wish. An application form can be filled out and sent to us through our email or you can simply call.
2. Is the child medically eligible?
This will be determined with the help of the treating physician. To ask for a dream, the child must be diagnosed with a life threatening medical condition, a progressive, degenerative or malignant condition that has placed the child’s life in jeopardy.
3. Finding the true wish
Our enthusiastic wish team will be sent to help the child determine his/her one true dream, it has to be special and thought out because each child gets only one dream. Our dedicated and passionate staff and group of volunteers will connect with the children and help them explore their imaginations for the experience and dream that will delight and inspire them.Three dreams are requested in order of preference. Should we be unable to fulfill the first dream for any reason, we will work even harder to fulfill the second or third dream.Our staff will also work closely with the child's physician and family to determine the most appropriate time to grant the dream, keeping in mind the child's treatment protocol or other concerns in addition to respecting all the child’s rights.
4. Creating joy
Once the dream is ready to be handed over to the child, a My Dream representative will contact the child and family to make the necessary arrangements. At all times the entire family is included in the dream experience. With permission from the child and family, the dream will be recorded with photos or video for the purpose of the Foundation. Should there be any media interest, this is cleared beforehand with the family as well.My Dream friends and/or sponsors create an unforgettable experience driven by the child’s creativity. It’s an incredible experience that enriches not just the lives of the children and their families, but often can affect an entire community.
